Security specialist Perimeter Security has played a key role in securing a new development at London Bridge.
The site – which includes landmarks such as Sir Norman Foster's innovative Greater London Authority (GLA) hq building – is of great strategic importance to the GLA.

Perimeter has been fully responsible for the supply and installation of equipment (including CCTV, access control and intruder detection) across all areas.

The site is divided into different areas, each with its specific security needs. In the service tunnels there are 15 fixed cameras, while a further ten high performance colour cameras have been installed to cover the public areas.

An intruder detection system protects the perimeter, while access to the building is controlled by a combination of proximity access control and intercom.
