Geddes received the award from Una Riley – Master of the Company of Security Professionals – prior to May's IFSEC Security Industry Awards dinner at Birmingham's Metropole Hotel.
Tim has played an active role in a wide range of areas within the industry for the past 25 years. He has been involved with the BSIA since his company – Yeoman Monitoring Services – joined the Association in 1978.
Tim was chairman of the BSIA's Security Systems Section from 1995-2002, and the BSIA's representative on the ACPO Security Systems Committee for eight years.
In 2002, Tim became chairman of the BSIA and completes his two-year term this month.
Just to keep himself busy, he's now taken on the chairmanship of SITO!
