THE BSIA HAS ELECTED NEW chairmen for its sections of membership.
Among the appointments are Phil Redcliffe of Bewator Ltd, who was appointed to the Access Control section, replacing Philip Gater, also formerly of Bewator. The new Security Equipment Manufacturers section chairman is Nick Sims from GardTec Ltd, who succeeds Julie Kenny, CBE of Pyronix Ltd. Both will serve two year terms.
Chairmen re-elected for a further year included Adam Wiseberg from RemGuard, for the CCTV section; Graeme Howes, from Advanced Perimeter Systems, to the Export Council; and Steve Kimber, from Southern Monitoring Services, to the Security Systems section. Chris Taylor from Selectamark Security Systems will continue his two year term, which will be complete in July 2005.
Vice-chairmen elected included John Sage (Access Control), Pauline Norstrom (CCTV), David Ripley (Security Equipment Manufacturers) and Michael Bystram (Export Council).
