BSRIA is about to start a new research project in partnership with Foremans and the industry.
The assignment will investigate design recommendations for the innovative integration of IT cooling and building services. The project is expected to take 12 months to complete a full analysis.
The study will investigate the best means of getting sufficient cooling into a room and also the most effective distribution methods of air in IT rooms and within cabinets, using laboratory based physical modelling.
It will also look at results in actual site situations and make recommendations on new approaches to enclosure design.
