2:25PM Firm sees rise in profits and turnover for latest year end results

Bucknall Austin today announced improved results for 2006. The firm saw profits before tax and interest rise by a third to £600,000 for the period while turnover increased by 18% to £26.5m.

Managing director Simon Birchall, who joined Bucknall Austin at the start of the year, said the firm had made solid progress since chairman David Bucknall returned to the firm. "Financially, we are performing well and have put in a robust performance - and more importantly we are consistently winning quality commissions. We’ve also beefed up our board with both internal appointments and talent from outside.

“Now the firm is totally forward-facing and outward-looking. The focus is very much on exceptional customer service and account management delivered by highly-trained, motivated and empowered staff, which in turn delivers growth.”
