Going for green: Student complex awarded highest ever BREEAM rating

The accomodation complex scored 95.05%

A student accommodation complex in Bradford has been awarded the highest ever BREEAM rating, with a score of 95.05%.

The £30m scheme, built by GB Building Solutions and designed by GWP Architects, is one of only 15 “outstanding” buildings in the world.

GB Building used locally sourced materials and some pre-fabricated building components. The Green contains six and seven-storey apartments and four-storey townhouses, which were built using pre-fabricated timber wall frames.
