A Western Beach Apartments, Royal Victoria Dock, London, was built using Hanson's Melford Yellow. The development was shortlisted for the best private housing development award.

B The precision of the detailing of the Shrewsbury School Music Facility won it a special commendation in the best public building category. It used Marshalls Breckland Multi.

C The Horniman Museum, in south London, used Sussex Brick's Hastings Henley Red to match the original building. The scheme was shortlisted for best public building.

D The Regis Building in Leeds was shortlisted in the best use of structural brick category. It used Hanson's Rossini brick to create what the judges called "a distinguished solution".

E Hanson's Mono Cream brick was used in this office development at Ancells Business Park in Fleet, Hampshire. This was shortlisted for the best commercial building award.

F Iroko Housing Co-operative, in Coin Street, London, used Sunbury Red Handmade brick, made by thebrickbusiness, for this shortlisted entry in the best public housing development.
