Engineering consultancy Buro Happold has appointed five new partners.

Ian Booth, Davood Liaghat, Angus Palmer, Justin Philips and an as-yet unnamed fifth have been appointed, expanding its 45-strong partnership.

The firm recently opened new offices in Hong Kong and Copenhagen, citing increasing levels of work won in those regions.

Rod Macdonald, Buro Happold chairman, said that the appointments would consolidate the firm’s position in the sector and that each new partner brought with them “leadership in design, in business and of people.”
