Scottish security and fire alarm system specialist, Scotshield, has been using Tesseract's Service Centre field service management system to manage and control its 25-strong team of installation and maintenance engineers for more than three years. Around 70,000 calls have been handled since the software was installed, and the system maintains details of more than 2,500 user sites throughout Scotland.
Service manager, John Stewart, said the company used to handle its field operations manually and switched to using the Service Centre software to "minimise the amount of time we spent processing incoming calls and despatching jobs to our engineers".
Scotshield had initially chosen dedicated call handling software, but replaced it with Tesseract's software because it was more suited to its ways of working.
