Have any readers of Housing Today any information or experience of starter tenancies or probationary tenancies across the board on all new lettings?

And I don’t mean the official line that gives a thousand reasons why they can’t be done and not one reason why they can.

I am sure this type of scheme will be cost effective, reduce the need for antisocial behaviour orders and stop estates going down hill faster than a politician’s promise.

All good prospective tenants would welcome it and the dead legs give it a wide berth.
