Following a series of workshops earlier this month at RIBA HQ, the CarbonBuzz website is poised for launch.
The launch will be held on 5 November at The Building Centre, presented by RIBA president Sunand Prasad, chair of RIBA Sustainable Futures Bill Gething, Hywel Davies of CIBSE, and Bill Bordass of the Usable Buildings Trust.
The CarbonBuzz site will act as an online database of buildings’ energy and emissions performance, before and after completion that will compare predicted and actual performance, as well as acting as a sector-by-sector benchmark.
After the site launch, a further series of workshops will be help at The Building Centre on 11, 12 and 13 November from 8.30am to 11am.
Practices with project forecast and actual energy use data who wish to take part should contact the CarbonBuzz project team at info@carbonbuzz.org to join one of these workshops.
