St Anne’s Shelter and Housing Action has promoted its operations director Sharon Allen to chief executive. A former social worker, Allen’s previous employment includes Shelter’s director of national services and initiatives, Women’s Aid, the Blenheim Project in Bradford.

Tracey Liggett has become assistant director of finance at Knowsley Housing Trust. She was previously financial controller at Constance Carroll Cosmetics. She has also worked for the NHS and John Moores University.
Brian Golton
Brian Golton is Moat Housing Group’s new head of technical services. He joins from Countrywide Surveyors and has previously worked for housing associations in Wales and the West.

Caren Welsh and Lucille Brown have joined Signpost Housing Association as housing officers. Welsh previously worked for Purbeck council as a tenant services officer and Brown worked for East Thames Housing Association.
Gary Orr
Raglan Housing Association has promoted Gary Orr to area director for the South-east. He was the association’s southern area housing manager for two years.

“A garbage collector, so my mum couldn’t shout at me when I got dirty.”
