“Run a ‘community bank’ for London and beyond, rolling out pilot projects in selected London boroughs during 2003 which will offer financial services to individuals, businesses and social enterprises. We will work with partners including high-street banks, the Housing Corporation, Family Housing Association and Metropolitan Housing Trust. We will roll out the full range of financial services – loans, insurance and more – from 2004.”
