This weeks movers and shakers
David Joyce
David Joyce (left) has joined the direct labour organisation at Family Housing Association. Joyce, formerly a pest control worker, will oversee repair times and responses for Family's 2100 homes, mainly in Birmingham.

Hackney council
Nancy Ghazi and Alan Turner have joined Hackney council in east London. Ghazi, formerly head of housing investment options at Ealing in west London, has become Hackney's head of housing neighbourhood renewal. Turner used to be head of asset management at Family Housing Association and is now head of housing construction at Hackney.

John Bird
John Bird is the new executive director for regeneration at Oldham council in Greater Manchester. Bird was previously assistant director (development and planning) with Birmingham council.

Sneh Soni
Sneh Soni has become principal tenant involvement officer at Rotherham council in South Yorkshire. He previously worked for Sheffield council as housing coordinator.

Helena Housing
Catherine McGowan (left) has joined Merseyside-based landlord Helena Housing as business support officer. She previously worked for Liverpool Housing Trust, where she was database administrator.

Meanwhile, Graham Jones (left) has been promoted from assistant housing manager at the Derbyshire Hill local office to business support manager.

Kelly Sandiford
Kelly Sandiford has joined the Employers' Organisation for local government as assistant director of skills development. She joins from Lambeth council in south-east London.

Reed Social Housing
Recruitment company Reed Health Group has launched a division that will deal with social housing recruitment. Reed Social Housing was established because the company's clients were demanding temporary and permanent social housing management staff for housing associations and local authorities.
