Laing Partnership has made two promotions. Mark Lunn (left), former director of Laing Partnership, has become managing director of John Laing Training. Gary Barnard has been promoted to operations director.

Housebuilder David Wilson Homes has appointed Glyn Hopping, previously with Berkeley Homes, managing director for the firm's eastern region.

Construction consultant Cyril Sweett has made the following appointments in its London and Manchester offices: Scott McCondach and Tony Chamberlain have been made senior cost consultant and cost consultant in the healthcare sector respectively; Gerry de Souza joins as senior M&E cost consultant in the London office; Colin Swaine, Ayad Matloob, Martin Clements and Andrew O'Keefe join the Manchester office.
