Kelly Truman, previously with Percival Field Associates, has joined Lovell as people development co-ordinator. She will be based at the company's head office in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

Persimmon Homes in Doncaster has appointed Gary Malton contracts manager in the construction department. Andrew Bowes joins as managing director for the East Yorkshire region.

Design consultant Scott Brownrigg has appointed David Maddox planning director and Christopher Tennant associate in its London office. Wesley Sedman joins as planner in the Bristol office.

Justin Paul, previously with FPD Savills, has set up his own Chester-based commercial planning company. The new practice, J10 Planning, will provide town planning and property solutions.

Town planning consultant Terence O'Rourke has appointed Richard Burton associate director. He will be responsible for landscape architecture design.

Mike Kershaw has been promoted to regional director of engineering and environmental consultant White Young Green's civil and structural division in Leeds.

Multidisciplinary consultant Ridge has appointed David Fellows associate building surveyor in the firm's Reading office. David Stear has been promoted to salaried partner in the building surveying division and Adrian Westbury becomes salaried partner in the M&E quantity surveying division.
