Building Good Employer Guide 2010

Are you a good employer?

We are starting to compile our Good Employer Guide for 2010 and we would like you to participate. Times may be tough in the sector but its as important as ever for companies to consider their employees personal welfare and development. Motivation, training and pastoral care matter even more as firms look to expand abroad and generally adapt to the pressures and stresses that the new economic climate brings.

The aim of the guide once again is to act as a beacon for the very best employers in the construction sector and we and we will be selecting companies based on a confidential staff survey.

The survey is applicable to all those types of companies who would qualify to be in our Top 250 consultants, Top 150 House Builder and Contractor lists or specialist contracting firms. Our only stipulation is that your company must employ at least 30 employees in non-support roles in the UK and each must have their own individual e-mail address. For more details on registration criteria and how companies are selected please read our 'Guide to the Guide'.

The Guide will be published in October and will be distributed as a supplement to Building magazine reaching 125,000 readers. It will also be available as a digital edition on the website, be sent directly to an additional 5,000 final year students and will be e-mailed to 100,000 industry professionals.

There is a very simple registration process and like last year, we are able to offer a results summary to participating companies to provide a better understanding of how they are performing.

If you feel youve got a company to shout about and would be interested in taking part, please click on the button below to register your interest or email us at buildinggoodemployers@ubm.com by Tuesday 6th April.

We look forward to hearing from you.
