ABB Building Technologies has completed fast-track m&e services contracts worth £3 million on two north-east healthcare projects.
The company installed electrical services including lighting, IT and data network containment and fire safety systems at the Sunderland Royal Hospital extension.
This Scheme III development was completed in 34 weeks, of which 12 were dedicated to commissioning.
At the University of Teesside School of Health's new Centuria Building, the company's involvement included main switch and distribution gear, mains cabling and ventilation systems.
HBG Construction was the main contractor on the Sunderland project, with AMEC filling this role at Teesside.
