Security management at Birmingham's Arcadian Centre – the entertainment complex housing bars and restaurants – has been upgraded with the installation of a 22-camera CCTV set-up supplied by Norbain.
Installed by KCR (UK), the specified system comprises 11 Dennard day/night domes and a similar number of fixed Vista Protos day/night cameras.
The cameras are located throughout the complex, and monitored round-the-clock from a purpose-built control room.
Here, two Vista VLM16CD multiplexers are used to display either multi-screen or full screen images on a selection of 21" and 14" monitors.
Images are recorded onto three Vista 24-hour VCRs (allowing real-time recording at a rate of 16 frames per second).
