Time is running out for companies wishing to transfer their certification to the new qa standard.
Changing over
- The cut-off date for companies wishing to transfer their qa to the new standard ISO 9001: 2000 is the end of 2003
- The new standard gives users the opportunity to add value to their activities and improve their performance continually by focusing on the major processes within the organisation
- There is now greater focus on continual improvement and customer satisfaction
- The new standard is modelled on the process-based structure of the Plan-Do-Check-Act improvement cycle
- There is now less documentation required
