Regarding your news story "Off-site construction 'will not save time or money', says top economist" (18 July, page 8): these cheap, prefabricated huts all sound wonderful, but no one has mentioned the fact that they are deficient in sound insulation.

Building more affordable homes is one thing, knocking up Legoland just shows a complete lack of foresight.
