Retail security expert, Checkpoint Meto, has supplied CCTV surveillance equipment for the world famous Shuttleworth Collection.
Based in the picturesque Old Warden Park in Bedfordshire, the collection houses some of the world's most unusual and valuable examples of historic vehicles and aeroplanes.

Following detailed assessment of the site's unique security needs, Checkpoint Meto installed ten state-of-the-art cameras and associated control equipment to monitor the collection, with two external tilt/zoom cameras providing security for the hanger frontage. There are also mini dome cameras in each of the site's eight hangars.

Checkpoint Meto has designed a self-contained monitoring system that offers around-the-clock protection. With operating keyboards and units surveying the premises during opening hours, an additional monitor is also in operation when the attraction is closed to the public.

The company offers a "total solution" to customers– from initial consultation through to installation and after sales service.

Simon Edgar, GM, CCTV at Checkpoint Meto says that because they were independent they could offer a mix of advanced equipment.
