Five of the buildings which won Civic Trust Awards included building services engineering by Buro Happold.
The winning buildings were Wildscreen at Bristol; Queen Elizabeth II Great Court at the British Museum in London; the Lowry in Salford; the Sheffield Millennium Galleries; and the Lakeside Residences at Aston University. The Peckham Library and Media Centre was also recognised in the awards. Services for the project were provided by Battle McCarthy.

Civic Trust Awards are given to outstanding examples of architecture and environmental design and take into account the benefit each project brings to its local area as well as the quality of the design.
