Staff from Midland Area Housing Association, including neighbourhood housing officer Ron Anderson, gave up their weekend to help clean up Birmingham’s streets.

In total, 15 employees last week volunteered to collect rubbish from roads in and around Handsworth. The event was so successful it will be repeated in future when the association hopes tenants will join in.
