John Keaveney

As Balfour Beatty Ireland’s new managing director, Keaveney takes over from Eamon Corcoran, who retired at the end of 2007. Previously Keaveney was a civil engineer and general manager at the company. His experience includes work on the Jack Lynch Tunnel in Cork.

Nigel Barker

Facilities management, construction and design group Operon has appointed Barker as its new financial director, succeeding Robert Alport who passed away last year. He joins from Aramark where he worked as financial controller for two and a half years.

Karim Khan

Karim Khan will head up Kier’s support services division, a new business combining facilities management, M&E, structural design and plant hire operations. He was previously managing director of a property maintenance company, and has also worked as a quantity surveyor.

Katherine Mackintosh

Mackintosh is now development manager at Robertson Property’s new Inverness office, joining after a spell with the Highland Council local authority where she was responsible for the strategic management of the estate and managing its annual disposals programme.

Peter Woolliscroft is the new managing director of the London Area Procurement Network, where he will lead the delivery of its maintenance and improvement programmes. Robertson North East has appointed Brian Todd as business development director and Martin Westgate as director. Kilby & Gayford has promoted Paul Fletcher to regional operations director. David Smith joins property maintenance company Integral as project manager for London and the south east. Shaylor Group has named Nigel Cresswell as a health & safety management executive.
