The strengths of both Orbis Security Systems and Philips Projects have been combined to form a new company, Tyco Integrated Systems Ltd.
The company aims to be the UK market leader in the design, planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of major integrated security and communications projects. Key installation targets are public and complex buildings, traffic and transport management, town centres, shopping centres, passenger terminals and conference and sports stadiums. First projects will focus on combining CCTV, access, PA, telecoms, radio paging, congress and conferencing systems.
The company, with 250 staff, is based in Cambridge. Managing Director is Phill Ford, formerly MD of Philips Projects.
