Two security officers deployed by contractor First Security at London’s famous Trocadero Centre in the heart of Piccadilly have been presented with commendations by the Metropolitan Police after they rushed to the aid of a plain clothes police officer struggling to arrest an armed assailant.

The Metropolitan Police commendations praised Dean Gellineau and Bikash Goswami for their “professional attitude and sense of community spirit”.
