What’s top on your ipod?

Somewhat bizarrely, having never been much of a country music fan, I’ve recently been listening to Justin Townes Earle, the Dixie Chicks and Townes van Zandt quite a lot (I blame the film Crazy Heart), but Thea Gilmore, Amy Macdonald, Eric Bibb, Iron & Wine and many others are getting regular airtime too.

Favourite digital gadget?
An iPad. Since getting it, I’ve hardly used my laptop at all. The iPad is brilliant when travelling on business.

What is your favourite website?
BBC, FT, ENDS Report and Economist websites. And I really like NERC Planet Earth (planetearth. nerc.ac.uk) which provides an accessible insight into the research in our universities.

What did you last buy online?
Re-Foc by Rodrigo y Gabriella - a stunning guitar album. But my bicycle is coming from a local shop - the service outweighs cost savings.
