Metsec has launched a new lattice beam designed to support poured concrete floors and give longer spans, greater fire performance and maximum flexibility for routing services.
The company says the Composite Floor Beam’s design makes it suitable for projects with limited headroom and claims it offers greater resistance to bending. The beam’s lattice design also provides plenty of space for service ducts, pipework and cabling.
Described as being ‘lightweight and easy to handle’, the beam is available for clear spans of up to 20 metres.
