Sales:

A net 4% (the difference between 28% who sold more and 24% who sold less) of conservatory fabricators reported an increase in sales in August 2005 compared with July 2005 in the Monthly Index sponsored by Eurocell Profiles Ltd. Large and mid-sized fabricators and firms in the North did best. However, compared with the same period in 2004, a balance of 2% of fabricators saw sales drop in August 2005.

Forecasts:

A net 16% of conservatory fabricators expect sales to rise next month (September 2005) compared with the previous month (August 2005). Mid-sized firms (26%) and fabricators in the South (40%) are particularly positive.

However, compared with the same period in 2004, a balance of 6% of conservatory fabricators forecast sales to drop in September 2005.
