The contract will see Equion build four police stations — in Lewisham, Bromley, Sutton and Deptford with construction partner Laing Construction, sold by John Laing to O'Rourke in October for £1.
The contract with the Metropolitan Police is worth £120m and will run for 25-years.
Equion Managing Director Richard Weston described the partnership with the police as 'unique', and said 'the range of support services we will provide will enable police to focus on their frontline duties'.
The company also won a contract to build a public order and firearms training facility in Gravesend, Kent, worth £55m over 25 years, and in September was appointed preferred bidder for a 30-year, £81m deal to build 17 police stations in the Manchester area.
This could bring the total value of Laing's contracts with the police in London, Manchester and Kent to £256m.
Laing's construction division lost £195.7m in three-and-a-half years, halving the company's share price, forcing financial restructuring and the sale of the division to O'Rourke for £1.
Analysts have recently doubted the strength of the company, but the new contracts may allay shareholder worries.
