Work has started on site on a £60m new shopping centre in Enfield, North London.
The 14,000m2 scheme will include 23 new shops, including clothes stores Next and TK Maxx and bookshop Ottakars. It will create a new street through Enfield town centre, as well as a link via a bridge to a planned new cultural and entertainment venue for the town.
The project team for the centre, which is due to open in autumn 2006, includes architect Reid, project manager TP Management and QS Tweeds.
