Tfl tram system for T&T
Transport for London has appointed Turner & Townsend as consultant to assist in creating an application for its £574m Cross River Tram System. The proposed route operates between Camden and Kings Cross in the north and Brixton and Peckham in the south.

Gleeds gains Bury project
Gleeds has won the QS contract for the redevelopment of Bury St Edmunds town centre, a site known as the Cattle Market. The project starts next year.
Calford awards contract
Calford Seaden Partnership has awarded a contract to build 32 flats in north London to contractor Botes. The scheme is due for completion in 2007.
