Leading manned security solutions provider The Corps HAS taken charge of security at The Peacocks Centre in Woking, the main shopping mall in the town.
The three-year contract will see The Corps fulfilling a demanding brief from The Peacocks Centre manager Gillian Bird, who is keen on a smooth running security operation that requires minimal input from centre management staff.

An accredited training programme for all officers and supervisors has been put in place by The Corps’ area manager Martin Whittaker. “Our training matrix is now in operation for all security staff, such that we can raise officers’ awareness and knowledge of the demands that will be made of them in the retail environment,” said Whittaker. “There’s an open policy for job progression which we feel is extremely important when it comes to motivation for security operatives.”
