Representatives from Denbighshire District Council’s Urban Renewal Team visited Rehau’s extrusion plant in Blaenau, North Wales, recently to find out about the technology employed in the manufacture of the PVC-U window systems now approved for use in its residents properties.

The visit was organised by Rehau fabricator Solar Windows as part of its role as an approved supplier to the team, which oversees the upgrading of properties in Rhyl town centre and surrounding areas.

Solar wanted representatives from the team to see for themselves the scale of Rehau’s facility at Blaenau and the manufacturing excellence achieved there and to understand better the strong relationship which exists between Solar and Rehau.

As well as the extrusion process at Blaenau, the team was also shown Rehau’s high-tech robotic car component facility.
