Crown House Engineering has won a £4.3 million contract to install the m&e and public health services at a prestigious nine-storey office block in Manchester city centre.

The £22 million building will be constructed by Carillion for developers Argent and will overlook the city's Piccadilly Gardens. On completion it will provide 14 000 m2 of office space above ground-floor restaurants, and a basement-level car park.

Many of the building services will be pre-assembled in modules at Crown House's manufacturing centre in Wolverhampton and fitted on site as complete units.
