It will be renamed Daubney Services and will be headed by current md Martin Daubney.
Aqumen md Jack McGrory commented: "It has been a smooth acquisition process. [Daubney] will increase our technical competence in the defence and m&e sectors...and will benefit from the contacts and experience available within a larger group."
The acquisition will complete Aqumen's national coverage as much of Daubney's work is based in the north-east of England. 60% of its turnover comes from the Defence Estates and its two main clients are Aqumen Defence and WS Atkins. The remainder of its portfolio is broadly divided between the public and private sectors.
