CCTV specialist Dedicated Micros has celebrated its 20-year anniversary with a major party for employees and customers alike (many of whom are pictured).
Staff were recently treated to a lavish champagne reception and dinner in the grand surroundings of Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire followed by a casino.
The company who invented the world's first commercially-viable video multiplexer back in 1982 is now one of the UK's largest manufacturers of professional CCTV equipment, and employs no less than 300 people across seven countries. One of its recent launches – the next generation BX2 digital multiplexer – offers a high end performance record rate of 50 pictures per second.
Last November, the company scooped the Best Customer Care Initiative trophy at the Security Excellence Awards, organised by SMT and sister title Security Installer (see 'For Your Eyes Only', pp24-28).
