Derby council has become the first local authority to achieve two three-star ratings from the Audit Commission’s housing inspectorate.
Inspectors judged the council’s frontline services team to be excellent with excellent prospects for improvement. The rating reflected the council’s “clear and relevant” aims. Derby last year won three stars for private sector work.
