Bosch Security Systems’ enhanced Divar recorder offers smart motion search, local archiving and ATM/EPoS interface for corporate end users

Digital CCTV

Bosch Security Systems has upgraded its already impressive Divar digital CCTV recorder with the Version 2 model featuring many enhancements that greatly extend its application base and simplify end user operation still further.

The refinements include smart motion search, local archiving without a separate PC and an ATM/EPoS interface for linking to tills and cash machines in banking and retail applications. In addition, new control centre software makes operating multi-Divar configurations from a central location even easier.

Divar is a highly integrated recorder, multiplexer and switcher with a choice of 16, 9 or 6 channels and internal storage capacities up to 600 Gb. It features built-in alarm handling, search and playback capabilities, as well as telemetry for controlling Bosch EnviroDomes, AutoDomes and PTZ cameras.

To speed up locating a suspect recorded event, Bosch has added a smart motion search facility that automatically searches and displays all images with motion in a user-specified part of the scene during a specified time span. Divar also allows instant local archiving on high quality optical media using a DVD writer (now available as an option). This makes it possible to back-up or copy important recordings onto DVD or CD media without having to use a separate PC.

Global access via Divar’s new control centre software release enables live system viewing and the configuration of multiple Divar configurations from any location worldwide. It’s compatible with any TCP/IP network, LAN, WAN or the Internet, and up to six users may be simultaneously connected. As well as remote viewing of the live and recorded video, the control centre offers full remote configuration.
