Dispute resolution firm Driver Group has increased it pre-tax profit 28% from £1.29m to £1.65m last year.
The results for the period ended 30 September 2005 also show that turnover is up 6% from £7.60m to £8.06m.
The Lancashire-based company said it had won a contract to provide commercial and planning services to an engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi, which is building a £8.3bn mixed-use scheme.
The three-year deal will be reflected in next year's results.
The firm floated on the Alternative Investment Market on 13 October last year, raising £2m, with which it aims to fund an ambitious bid for growth, including an acquisition, according to chief executive Steve Driver.
John Mullen, head of Driver in the south, said within the UK, the group has a string of offices in the north and one in Northampton, so it would now try to improve its presence in the north Midlands. It will also open an office in the south west.
