Customers, staff and passers by were surprised recently when Great Britain's only Olympic ski jumper Eddie ‘The Eagle' Edwards dropped in for a photo shoot at Stroud based Quantal conservatory roof fabricator TPC.
Local man Eddie famously came last in the event at Calgary in 1988 and still holds the official British record for ski jumping.
Sporting his ski wear, including skis, Eddie was photographed on top of a delivery vehicle outside TPC's trade counter. He also had his picture taken with a Quantal conservatory roof on the factory floor.
TPC manufactures all styles, colours and sizes of the Quantal conservatory roof for trade customers. It even has a thriving business exporting the roofs to sites in North America. TPC operates trade counters in both Stroud and Cheltenham and stocks a wide range of building products and accessories needed to complete any job.
