Eigg Electric was named best community initiative at the Green Energy Awards, organised by Scottish Renewables.

The scheme uses wind, hydro and solar to provide electricity to the isle of Eigg, which is controlled by a partnership of residents, Highland Council and the Scottish Wildlife Trust.
