HONEYWELL SECURITY DOME CAMERAS have taken a starring role in a 24-hour televised ordeal in the original Castle Dracula.
Producers of ‘24 Hours of Fear’ wanted to use surveillance domes alongside conventional TV cameras because of their versatility, remote control and 360° rotation.
Equipment provider Filmpartners International chose high-specification Honeywell KD6 dome cameras for optimum image quality. Around 30 cameras were fitted inside and outside the historic Transylvanian castle, 15 of them from Honeywell.
The company said producers appreciated the cameras’ automatic changeover from colour to mono/IR – essential when observing creatures of the night.
