Dallmeier digital recording Products has been awarded the Kalagate Imagery Bureau mark of approval as safe to be used in British and European Courts of Law.
The certificate was officially handed over to James Walker, Director of Dallmeier UK by David Oxlee, Director of Kalagate Imagery Bureau at the company's Open Day.

Kalagate is appointed by the British government to approve those digital recording processes which are suitable for use for evidential purposes.

Mr Oxlee said that Kalagate is asked to test many video recording devices but that few prove to have the technology and quality to pass the stringent testing.

So the certificate awarded to Dallmeier for the DMS 180/EMP digital hard disk recorder "should be recognised as a special achievement".

In responding, James Walker reminded visitors of the advantage this approval gave his customers. They could be sure that high quality images recorded off their CCTV system can be used in any UK or European court of law.
