The annual awards, now in their fourth year, have become established as the 'Oscars' of the industry and have become so successful that next year will have to move to an even bigger venue.
The Security Excellence Awards 2002, the only annual awards scheme to cover the whole of the security industry, honoured companies and individuals in thirteen award categories who have achieved 'excellence'.
Although the black tie event had a serious purpose, guests had a real fun time.
A James Bond (Sean Connery) lookalike introduced proceedings along with Jaws and Oddjob and a touch of glamour was added by the Bond Girls dance troupe.
After the awards, guests danced to the Revellers and played in the charity casino which raised money for The Prince's Trust.
