Wide range of displays
JVC offers a wide range of CRT, LCD and rear projection monitors as part of its CCTV display range.
"A strong part of JVC's business is the wide range of displays offered across a number of screen sizes and categories," says Yash Patel, Executive director, CCTV Europe at JVC Professional Europe Ltd.
"The JVC wide range gives customers the chance to select the screen size they need and the technology they want to use, be it CRT, LCD or projection command wall."
JVC maintains a commitment to CRT monitor development, and says that for security applications there is still a large demand for high quality and cost effective monitoring. Its monitors offer a high end, low cost solution, the company says.
The CRT monitors come on sizes ranging from 10-inch, 15-inch, 19-inch and 20-inch. The LCD monitor range offers extremely high resolution images, space saving design and consume low amounts of power. They come in varying sizes including 15-inch and 17-inch.
The JVC command wall incorporates the lightweight, low power consumption DLA-SX21 projector and CinePro screens. It uses JVC's D-ILA projection technology.

Enter the Predator
Zandar's Predator VC16 is a real time high resolution multi-image display processor that can handle computer data sources.
The Predator VC16 handles 16 video inputs (including composite and s-video and up to four computer sources) and manipulates them for display on a single screen using a projector or display device. The MultiViewer processes information in full motion and in real-time, producing high resolution images of up to SXGA (1,280 x 1,024 pixels).
Enhanced viewing for operators is achieved and the MultiViewer eliminates the restrictions of desktop viewing commonly associated with the more traditional CRT monitors.
Screen layouts can be flexibly managed to suit the needs of every security system with the availability of preset. Network control software can be utilised for larger control rooms where more than one Predator VC16 MultiViewer is installed and requires centralised control.
Designed for future expansion, unlike multiplexers or screen splitters, the unit can be expanded to add four additional composite video or S-video channels or four RGB HV or DVI computer graphic inputs, meaning 20 sources can be monitored.
