Moves include building surveying boost in Wales and promotions in the Northeast

Faithful+Gould has made eight appointments throughout the UK.

The Cardiff office has promoted Mark Bugler to regional director. Bugler, formerly associate director, has been tasked with beefing up the firm’s building surveying service, a move being made by several QS firms at present. He is aiming to create a 30-strong team of building surveyors by 2010 in the Southwest cluster. He is halfway there, having taken the existing team from 2 to 16 since he joined F+G in 2004.

The Northeast offices of F+G have promoted three staff to associate director: Clare James, Neville Worthington and Sean McKeon. James has been with the firm for two years and is developing the project management teams in the North from the Teeside office.

The Teeside office has also hired two planning supervisors: Gillian Hoyle, who joins from F+G’s Leeds branch, and Barrie Smith.

In Edinburgh, F+G has appointed two associate directors: Keith Curran of Gardiner & Theobald and Kevin laing, a PPP expert whose experience includes secondment to the City of Edinburgh Council’s Schools PPP team.
