Where can I get information relating to the effect prefabrication is having on building services?

The first place I would suggest looking is the Building Services Best Practice / Construction Best Practice web site (www.bsbpp.org.uk) where a quick search under the the standardisation and preassembly' theme will identify about 70 relevant items - simple guides, research outputs, reports, case studies and details of events from which to choose.

You should also consider consulting the main trade bodies, eg. CIBSE, BSRIA, ECA, FETA, HVCA etc, most of which have their own bookshops offering relevant information, or who run workshops and seminars on a variety of topics including prefabrication.

Finally, the key trade publications, including Building Services Journal and Building regularly run articles on Prefabrication (eg Building 15 February 2002) or case studies featuring installations where prefabrication has featured strongly.
