Leaderflush Shapland has found an elegant way to prevent fingers from being trapped in door hinges.
Its Sentinel doorset has no hinges – instead the door has a rounded edge which turns within the frame so there’s no gap when it opens or closes. Leaderflush believes it will be ideal for use in schools or other areas where children are present. Sentinel satisfies all technical requirements for Building Schools for the Future projects, and has fire resistance of up to 60 minutes. The doorsets can be faced in veneer, laminate or can be supplied primed, and are supplied with all essential ironmongery. A patent is pending.
